About Boy Scouts  

Boy Scouts is an organization for boys aged 11 to 18 years old that aims to promote good citizenship, chivalrous behavior and outdoor skills. In 1908, a military captain named Lord Baden Powell founded the Boy Scout movement in the United Kingdom. 

Troop 3083 is based in Ballston Lake and has been a gold level troop for many  years. Despite COVID-19, this unit has been successful in remaning  active while adhering to the COVID-19 rules.
